How to reduce memory used by X, xterm, tcsh

Hi!

I'm trying to optimize my notebook.
Does somebody know a mtheod to reduce the memory used
by X, xterm or tcsh? I've seen something about
it on the net but now I cannot find it.

Regards,

Jacek

How to reduce memory used by X, xterm, tcsh

For X, use fvwm as the window manager.

For xterm, try rxvt instead.

For tcsh, try bash instead.
