...is there a way to improve the playback quality of MPG and AVI
files....it seems as though the quality really sucks on these formats,
when played under linux. Is it an issue of they've not got a good
decoding engine written yet?....even when I had my system...(256M,
366cel o/c'd 650, 30g HD, Banshee, and Creative Inlay Mpeg decoder
card), configured, (what I thought to be), fully optimized, they still
play back with lots of artifacts...knowledgable insight requested, or at
least a HOWTO or a MAN page somewhere....
