create a file in your home directory named .forward and put the
forwarding address in that file.

if you don't know how to use a text editor, this command will also work:

  echo "u...@domain.com" > .forward

| I can not seem to remember how to forward email to a different account?

Usually, you do that by creating a file named .forward in the user's
home directory that contains the email address to which you would like
mail sent to that user to be forwarded.

Recent versions of sendmail are a lot more picky about the permissions
on users' home directories than earlier versions were, unless you
use the DontBlameSendmail option.

If any directory in the path to a users' home is group-writable,
then recent sendmails will ignore .forward files (again, unless you
use DontBlameSendmail).

Check your system logs for errors from sendmail.

I'm only on 7, but unless it's changed it should be something like
echo u...@domain.com >.forward
(or whatever other means you like of creating a .forward file with
the appropriate address in it...)
