Bourne shell: "no stack space" problem
This might be a simple problem which may have been answered many
times but I can't find a FAQ on it...

When I do a 'cd' to some long directory (only 4 levels deep including
symbolic links) I get "no stack space" and I can't recover unless I
logout and re-login.
