Enable Large File Size in Aix file system
How to enable support Large File size in the AIX Journal File System ? Using
smit jfs and go to change or show characteristics of Journal File System and
tried to set the Large File Size to true is not allowed even though the file
system is dismounted.

Any help or guide is appreciated.

Last I heard, if you wish a filesystem to support large
files, you must specify that at the time you create the
filesystem.

NICHOLAS is right !!!
While creating new filesystems the mentioned options are allowed to set. You
must copy filesystem on tape, delete fs, create new one and
restore files from backup.
