 Adding/Changing an exported Shell Variable
I'm trying to add a shell variable that will stay
set through out the course of a login session (process).
I'm attempting to do this in a c program with the putenv()
command but since this runs as a separate process, I
don't know how to make it affect my current process.

Can someone tell me how to Add/Change environment variables
in my current environment without using shell builtin commands?

You can mail me directly at jamer...@kodak.com with any
help you can offer.

Thanks.
