 formatting ksh
Anyone have a ksh formatter?  Hopefully with tunables like number of
spaces for the indent, if "then" and "do" are an the same line as the
"if" and the "for" or the next, stuff like that.

OK.  Given that this would be run on a Compaq Alpha, I suppose I shall
have to wait. Were I inquiring for my own purposes I migh take the time
to play with it, but I was looking for something to act as a teaching
aide for a Basic programmer who I am try to teach to script as a part
of moving some job responsibilities.

Thanks anyway, it looks impressive.

The formatter we have for the Basic programs is only a few hundred
lines long. Hmmm.... I wonder how long it would take to modify that to
do ksh?  No matter, I've no time for that either.

I need a job with more "creative play time".

Take a look at nedit;

It's not really what you're looking for but it may help a bit.

Functionally it's exactly what I was looking for. Ok, so it's not a
command line utility, and that does puts some limits on things, but it
appears to be better than the other alternative I was considering;
namely to use a windows based editor like TextEdit to do the formatting.

Thanks for the link.
