 Converting csh aliases to ksh
We're getting ready to move a bunch of user's from csh to ksh.  To
make things easier, I'd like to strip all aliases from the user's
.cshrc and .login, move them to an external file, and convert them to
ksh syntax.

Since I'd rather not reinvent to wheel, does anyone have a script,
command line, or whatever, to convert aliases?

I realize this isn't foolproof, since there's problems with nested
aliases, and ordering, etc.  Some really complex aliases probably
won't convert easily, etc, but the majority of the cases should be
fine.

If you post a followup, please cc via email, our system expires too early.

Thanks.

Mohandas K. Gandhi often changed his mind publicly.  An aide once asked
him how he could so freely contradict this week what he had said just
last week.  The great man replied that it was because this week he knew
better.
