 Function keys under Tcsh
It seems that Bindkey gives only a limited possibilites to configure keys.

How can I launch programs with function keys ?

Thanks.

Binding to function keys using mnemonic names like f3 for the function
keys is not currently supported in tcsh.  You can do it if you figure out
what special sequences your function keys generate, and then bind to those
sequences.  That's not very portable across keyboards, unfortunately.

Yes I know that.
For instance, f3 echoes : "^[[226z".
What is the syntax to lauch Pine for example by pressing f3.

Assuming that ^[ is an escape character:

% bindkey -c "\e[226z" "pine"

The -c means "bind the key sequence to the command following".

  bindkey -c ^[[226z pine

Where ^[ should be control-v ESC.
