tcsh 6.06 and Solaris 2.7 difficulties
Having upgraded from Solaris 2.6 (SunOs 5.6) to Solaris 2.7 (SunOs
5.7), a number of problems have come up that appear to be due to the
interaction of tcsh 6.06 and Solaris 2.7. These problems do not exist
with Solaris 2.6 or with "csh".

They are as follows:

1) When the command "/bin/ps" is entered on the command line, some
other apparent version of "ps" is executed. The only way to execute
"/bin/ps" is to "cd" to "/bin" and execute "./ps".

2) When executing pine with the default editor being "emacs -nw", pine
hangs after leaving an "emacs" session executed from pine.

Anyone have any experiences with this or suggestions on how to fix the
above?

Please e-mail me with your response.

Thanks,

Jonathan <j...@engr.uark.edu>
