Using tcsh prompt string in xterm title
Dear group subscribers:

I want to use the tcsh prompt information:

set ellipsis
set prompt = "%c03 "

to set my xterm title:
echo -n "^[]2;${USER}@${HOST}:<prompt string goes here>^G"

The desired result is to keep my xterm title from getting too long for
the window:
USER@HOST:~.../level1/level2/level3

instead of the full directory path with $cwd
echo -n "^[]2;${USER}@${HOST}:$cwd^G"

but more information than with $cwd:t

How do I get my prompt string using the tcsh prompt controls (%c03) to
appear in my xterm title?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Sincerely,
Gerald
