 File name expansion in csh
A recent project required a count of a recurring string in several files
in different directories.  The project has been completed, but I still
haven't figured out how to get file name expansion to work using frep
under csh. Any ideas how to quote the following so that it will properly
expand in a csh script?:

    foreach ...
     if (-d $i) then
        grep -c ddd $i/*.grp
    ...                ^

Thanks in advance - no ksh, sh, name-your-favorite, isn't an option :-)
