 load and stop applications
one asks me to configure the launching and stop of applications : oracle,
cft, mxseries

for launching with the demarrage of my server:
it's ok, i configure inittab

but for the shutdown or the passage in single

how do it

one said that the file /usr/sbin/shutdown should be modified, that to me
seems to me strange

and for the passage in single where mofied

 load and stop applications

Do it with 'init.d' scripts. Depending on your OS, these could
be in /etc/init.d/ or /sbin/init.d/ or /etc/rc.d/ or something like
that. Do a search for "init.d scripts links unix" in Google.
