/usr/bin/ls and /usr/xpg4/bin/ls report different file attributes

On a SUN E450 with Solaris 2.6, I found that /usr/bin/ls and
/usr/xpg4/bin/ls reports the diffrent modified timestamp for the same file.

Does anyone have any idea?

There have been rootkits in use 1.5 years ago that modified one, but not
the other. What does /usr/ucb/ls report?
