 how to make settings "stick"
I seem to be fairly far along with the networking I need, but
I made the mistake of rebooting and all teh settings I have done
were lost.

In particular my settings of ifconfig and route, which
I issued manually and got things working OK.

reboot and route -n shows that the settings are gone.

Run through the same procedures again and they are back. And
reboot again and these are lost.

I assume that I need to encode some of this in config files
but haven't yet found where.

Redhat 5.1.

pointers??

thanks
