Hi all
I have also been trying for over a week, bought two books, and I don't
know where I am at.
I have setup my modem on /dev/ttyS0, I went thru the net config tool in
X and when I click on Activate to test it, I get nothing.
I have tried changing to /dev/cua0 and get the same.
Do I need to recompile my kernel adding PPP.  I have Red Hat 5.0 and
supposedly the PPP and TCP/IP are installed.
Please help.
