 MOL Lives...read-only. :-(
I FINALLY got MOL running on my Beige G3 desktop 266.  I'm running 9.0.4 on
an HFS partition (the same one that boots the Mac).

I set the /etc/molrc file to make hdc5 (my HFS partition) -rw, but when I
boot MOL either from the HFS partition OR from CD-ROM, hdc5 is read-only.

Do I need a MOL OS installation/partition separate from that which I use to
boot the computer?

 MOL Lives...read-only. :-(

Never mind...I just realized I had hdc5 mounted in Linux, so of COURSE it
was read-only to MOL.
