Yes, it does.  In fact, it was first ported to run on NuBus machines
before being made to run on the PCI machines.  Having said that, it
doesn't run on every NuBus mac, but I believe that the 6100 is
supported.

MkLinux (all versions since 1996) runs perfectly nicely
on my 7100/66AV. The questions was (and still is):
Will MkLinux still run when I put in a G3?  <---
Will it run fast?

Originally, MkLinux was developed for the 6100/7100/8100 NuBus
computers. The new PCI computers came later ...

As to the question on G3 card, I think nobody knows. But of course,
maybe it will. But in my opinion, a major argument against purchasing
such a card will be its possible inability to run UNIX.

But as well DR3 [MkLinux] and the G3 cards from Newer Technologies have
been very delayed. Perhaps in order to let the G3 cards on the 6100
being able to run MkLinux, perhaps in order to make it able to function
together with the Apple DOS Compatibity Card. Nobody knows - the card
was, however, withdrawn from the resellers more than a month ago as
errors were found in the card. I have heard nothing more about it.
Except that lots of people who had ordered it almost half a year ago a
getting quite annoyed.

I am running MkLinux on my NuBus 7100/66
for nearly 2 years and expect it to
run there when I put in a G3 card.

And I won't order one before I am sure it works with MkLinux DR3. Also,
I hope it will work with my Apple DOS Compatibility Card - they have had
lats of time to repair the error, and I may continue use the RAM and
monitor placed on this card [+ I've just discovered the possibility to
update it to Pentium!].
