 MkLinux on SyJet-partitioning

I have partitioned my SyJet 1.5 using Disk Drive Tool,  when I try to
install, I get the message that I need A/UX partitions.  Someone give me
an idea here.  The Mac disk tool doesn't do Syjet.            pDisk asks
for a dev name, would that be the full name of the Syjet drive?  Please
give me examples of the root, swap and urs partition names, so I know
that I wrote them correctly.  i have read the instructions from the
MkLinux sites,  scanned the FAQ's, didn't find much to go on.

TIA,  Al newbie lost in the woods, looking for a clearing not a flame.
Reply to my e-mail.

 MkLinux on SyJet-partitioning

Since your SyJet is on SCSI, its name will look like /dev/sda or /dev/sdb
(the last character is a one-up letter based on all SCSI devices found on
your computer).  What I did was create the partitions using the Mac tool
(can't remember the name) and used pdisk to delete and create those same
partitions so that they would be the right type for the install.  The
FAQ-o-matic has some good examples, you just have to find them.

I don't think the names are of any importance except for your own sanity.
You will assign them during the installation to the appropriate partition
(root, swap, etc.).
