Suse: "cannot open shared object file"
I get this error message after installing Suse PPC 7.1 on a PM 7200/90:

kosh:~ # lynx
lynx: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
kosh:~ #

libssl.do.0 is where is supposed to be?
Other programs also have the similar error - no "shared object file"
I've tested different kernels, and it is the same with both the 2.2 and
2.4 kernels.
A little disappointing - I thought Suse had these things under
control... :(

BTW - when will Suse release 7.3 on their ftp server?

Suse: "cannot open shared object file"

libssl or libssl96 packages should have that library.

Suse: "cannot open shared object file"

libssl.so and libssl.so.0.9.6 was in place - the first as a symlink. I
simply added a symlink calles libssl.0.so, andeverything worked.
Strange, really, that a freshly installed Suse 7.1 should have a problem
like that.

You sure don't want me as a Debian developer to comment on that :-)
