How can I make my screen larger?
I'm on a Lombard (SCSI) Powerbook G3 running LPPC2k w/ xpmac in 1024x768 32.

I want to get my desktop 1x or 2x larger.  I thought I would just do it like I did when I was on
x86, but now that I get into it, it doesn't seem the same at all.  Can somebody offer any insights?

Do you mean switching resolution?  I don't think Xpmac does this on the
fly; you'll probably need to kill it, run vmode, and restart X.  XFree86
supports switching on the fly with ctrl-alt-{-,+}.

It won't work that way.  I've tried it.

I some how need to get to a config file that controls this.

Are you sure you can do other resolutions?  I don't know about modern
powerbooks, but some LCD screens in the past have been of fixed
resolutions.

Xpmac does not use any config files; XFree86 does.  XFree86 requires
that you enter at least one mode -- one resolution -- in the config
file.  If you enter more, you can switch between them on the fly, which
is what you seem to be looking to do.  Check out
