 SLOW Nfs client
Hi

I'm using a cutdown linux client that PXE boots to install a custom linux
distro. It all works ok ... ish.

The only thing I cant solve is the NFS client takes 20 mins to mount a
volume ! Its not a server problem because if I use a full Linux to mount
the same volume its instant.

Anyone any ideas whats wrong with it ?

Thanks,
Jon

 SLOW Nfs client

Use tcpdump or ethereal (on the NFS server) to capture client requests
to the server.
Probably something to do with name resolution.
Pls post more information if available.

Nav.
