Can you control the degree of checking in passwd ?
I'm setting up a few additional users on my (home) Linux system. Just about
any password I try gets rejected as "BAD", even when I do things like replace
i with1 and o with 0. This may be fine for a secure server, but is a bit
much for my "toy" machine. Can I control the level of checking done ?
BTW - I have noticed I can set the password to whatever I want if I do it
from root.
TIA
