HELP! Panic Ecache sram data parity error on Ultra 2 200 Mhz

[[ PLEASE DON'T SEND ME EMAIL COPIES OF POSTINGS ]]

Hm, this looks as an actual hardware problem (but software bugs can
appear as anything, i suppose)

This looks like;
4063124 System Panic, alignment error,BAD TRAP: Async data error at tl1 on Ultra2

So it seems you're overdue for some recommended patches
(this one is fixed in 104212-09)

Your kernel patch is also way out of date.

HELP! Panic Ecache sram data parity error on Ultra 2 200 Mhz

Hi everyone,

I have encountered the same problem in my newly purchased machines. Out
of 5 of them, 4 are having the same problem. Machines configuration is
also Ultra 2 with dual 200Mhz CPU running over 512MB RAM. The problem
occurs intermittently, usally twice in a day.

I need urgent help too. Please let me have your suggestion or solution.

Regards

the message buffer.

After a panic reboot you can type:

        savecore /var/tmp

and you'll get a so called crashdump (which may be *huge* but considerably
smaller than your physical memory size)

This core file can then be examined using adb and crash; it will include
the messages; these message should also be logged to /var/adm/messages.

Call Sun under your support contract or warranty. This is a hardware
problem. I'll be willing to bet that you have Rev. 4 of the 200Mhz CPU's.
