Booting WinNT, Solaris x86 7 and RH Linux 6.0
Hi,

I'm a newbie in *nix and I'd like to install theses 3 OS's on my Compaq
Deskpro PIII 450 Mhz, 96M RAM, 2 HD (1st 6GB & 2nd 10 GB). I know that
Lilo can boot boot NT if Linux is install on the 2nd partition.

Has someone here has experience in multibooting these Os's? If yes, how to
set-up, order of install, did u use Lilo or NTLDR or Solaris Boot?

Please help, I can't afford to buy anither machine.

Thanks & happy new year.

Booting WinNT, Solaris x86 7 and RH Linux 6.0

Hi,

I tried all three OSes, but never 3 all together (solaris has to go, because
it's too slow on IDE disk).  Just so you know, lilo boots solaris just fine.
Base on my own experience, install NT first, then solaris, then Linux is
probably the easiest way to go because NT is the most picky, then Solaris,
Linux installation is really easy and flexible.
