Whats that: CPU0 Ecache SRAM Data Parity Error

You need to get your motherboard replaced.  One or more of the memory
cells in the external cache SRAM have a data retention problem.

CPU 0.

We've had this on 2 Ultra2s, and Sun tells us it's a known problem with some
earlier CPU modules.  Both machines have had the CPUs replaced and the
problem has gone away.

I also have a same problem. Please let me know your specifcation
of Ultra2 and CPU module. My sun is Ultra2 200Mhz (Dual) with
CPU (#501-4791).

Ultra2 300Mhz is OK?

How early?  We had been getting this error on a new E450, oh,
about 6 months old now.  And, even though it says cpu0, the
problem was not necessarily with cpu0.  Made it difficult to find.
We finally quit replacing cpu0, and replaced all 4.

You need *at least* rev -03 of the 200MHz CPU modules.  We had the
problem in spades for our Enterprise 2200s.  One of the later comments
being that the -02 revision was 98% OK (oh, gee, thanks for putting
one in as a fix for -01, then).

Allegedly, the problem was only with the 200MHz modules.

Cheers,
