: Looking for serial STOP-A source code example

Hey folks,

I've looked through more news posting at than I care to count.
I saw several good posting on problems had with serial consols and how to
perform a STOP-A equivalent on these serial terminals.  BUT, I didn't see any
source examples.  I have a program someone at my site wrote for using terminal
services as console systems to Sun servers.  The application works but it's not
clean.  This is what I'm hoping for:

1) example source code to perform STOP-A through terminal service
2) example source code to have some sort of simple pre-defined key sequence to:
   - quit cleanly
   - keep the session to the terminal server alive (code I currently have will
suddenly for no reason I can find just let go of the terminal server (it's a CMC
terminal server BTW).
   - have some sort of key sequence allowing me to perform certain functions
(i.e. quit, perform the STOP-A function ... sort of like tip does)

If anyone has application source they have already developed and use which
performs the above and are willing to share ... I would be forever grateful.
