I insert Software CD 1/2,
break to to ok> prompt,
boot cdrom -install

ok boot cdrom -install

I've googled for that error but to no avail.

Does anybody have a clue at what's wrong or could point me into the
right direction?

Thank you in advance

I don't know that it has anything to do with your problem, but your boot
string is almost certainly wrong.  If you're trying to do an unassisted
custom jumpstart, there needs to be a space between the dash and the

boot cdrom - install

Just to test, I'd remove the '- install' portion and see if you can
complete a boot without it.

You might have bad media.  Do you have another copy of the installation

Hi Darren,

the missing space between the dash and "install"... that was it!!!
Thanks again
