 "newkey" doesn't work
Im trying to generate a diffie_hellman key for a user
and it's failing.

# newkey -u hari
gets the error

Updating files publickey database
newkey: could not get the equivalent netname for hari
usage:  newkey -u username [-s nisplus | nis | files]
        newkey -u hostname [-s nisplus | nis | files]

I have an entry created in the /etc/netid file for username hari
as

unix.<uid>@<domainname>  <uid>:<gid>

where <uid> is uid of user hari, <gid> is the gid, and
the <domainname> is the dns domainname. The publickey
entry in my nsswitch.conf says 'files'. So I assume that
/etc/netid will be taken as the source for netname.

So can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Haripriya
