Ifmail is a set of FidoNet(tm) compatible transport and gateway
programs, running on multiple U*IX platforms (Linux, FreeBSD, SCO, SVR4,
SunOS and others).  In cooperation with typical U*IX e-mail and netnews
packages, it allows to make a FidoNet node (or point) on a machine
running U*IX.

Aside from usual bugfixes, there are two significant changes:
- - Eric Young's lhash is used instead of linear search on the areas list.
  Should inprove performance if you have a huge list.
- - IMPORTANT!!! On Jul 27 10:40:00 GMT the algorithm for ^aMSGID
  generation will switch (the current one proved to be suboptimal in
  many cases).

YOU ARE URGED TO UPGRADE BEFORE THIS DATE!
If you don't, ifmails on different nodes will generate different
^aMSGIDS for the same original message, which may cause unnecessary
duplicates on the Fidonet side.
