 newbie on the horizon.
I have played with electronics when I was younger and built a 8051
board in school, and now I want to play with something more advanced.
I want to buy an embedded system, possibly an x86 board and then add
something simple like some servo motors to it and possibly outfit the
board with a camera or lcd screen/ega/vga?  just for fun of course.  I
read about some x86 systems in linux-magazine, but I was wondering
what is the best system for a hobbyist like myself at the best price.
And also what do I have to worry about?  I think the price range I
would like to spend is 150-250.

I already looked here, but is pretty sparse.

It looks like a pc104 device, but then again I could just spend my
money on a ps2 kit, hmm?
