 UNIX on top of Win2k
Hey all.  My first post.  First off, I love UNIX, from what I know so far
which isn't just a whole lot.  Wanted to know if I could either install
FreeBSD on a partition in Windows 2000 Pro or if there was some sort of
Virtual Machine Ware that would allow an emulation for FreeBSD.  Any and all
advice would be much appreciated.

You could use vmware (  http://www.vmware.com/  ), it's like booting
youre pc again on top of Windows (including memory check).
This way I managed to have FreeBSD (or any other OS ) running on top of
Windows. Perfect way fo experimenting. After a while that you feel you
could manage FreeBSD a bit you can sweep the HD and use FreeBSD
dedicated for youre daily work :-).

Cygwin is a nice way to "feel" UNIX on windows, I use it for systems
where I'm not allowed to sweep the HD and put my OS of choice on it :-)

Good Luck!
