 Batch FTP
I used to have a Demon account and they provided a service called 'Batch
FTP'. You could send a email containing url's to a certain address and than
those files where downloaded to your user directory.

Is such a program available for FreeBSD ?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

fetch ftp://place1/directory1/file1 ... ...
ftp://placen/directoryn/filen

sure, but I want a email interface so users can send a email and then the
files requested are downloaded to there homedirectory. If such a program
does not exists a quite easy perl script would do. But I was wondering if
someone else allready wrote such a script.

Try 'wget'. It is available in FreeBSD porting/packaging directory. Use

% wget http://www.test.com/filename

to download  filename to your local directory.  See its manpage for more
details.
