 Strange Keyboard behavior
Newbie to FreeBSD 4.2
As root as I use the up and down arrow keys in a terminal they operate
as normal moving up and down in the history file of commands.  When I
login as any other user and use the up/down arrow keys; I get random
characters..  Any ideas what I mucked up?

maybe it's not the same shell (csh, sh, bash)

Bingo!  Changed to bash.   Sometimes its the simple things that elude me.
