kbd not working on new install
I have just installed FreeBSD 4.2 for the first time.
When I rebooted after completing installation my keyboard no longer worked.
I can see the boot time messages detect an AT style kbd. bios etc.

system is a Compaq Prosignia 486/66, 56MB RAM, EISA server (yeah, I know...a
dinosaur :-P  )

What mistake have I made on installation to cause this error?

I have not yet configured networking support so I can't even telnet in to
fix it...can I mount the root filesystem from the installation boot floppy
to do the repair?

If so...install is on the first scsi device, what boot params would I need
to give to mount root fs?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
