 sendmail error
Hey all, every now and then I get spammed with (from syslogd i'm
assuming):
sendmail[832]: gethostbyaddr(192.168.0.1) failed: 1

That ip is the second network card in the gateway configured for use on
the local lan.
I don't want sendmail to be running, in /etc/rc.conf i have
sendmail_enable="NO".
So why is it giving me an error, if it shouldn't be running?  I'm
confused...
thanks,
john

 sendmail error
I just realized there was another thread with the same error as mine, heh,
whoops.
But before I get flamed, I don't want to FIX this error, so much as I want
to stop sendmail from running altogether.  I think...
ie.  I'm not trying to get sendmail to work or anything.
