        Is there any software for linux that can view mpeg?

        If there is, could you please post the site of the src or
the binary so that I can ftp from it.

You need to get mpegplay or xanim or one of those. :)  xanim can easily be
foudn on teh web, webcrawler or one of the search engines can give you the
site. :)  Otherwise I am sure that both are available on sunsite.

hi kin,

in my Slakeware-distribution there was a piece of software called 'mpeg-play'.
maybe it is on one of the CD's that came with the Distribution disk, but they
are mirrors from the Sunsite. you may find it there.
