Two days ago, suddenly my pine cannot access my account thru an IMAP
server!

I use Pine 4.10 to access another server accross the Internet running IMAP
server 4.4 from UoW through a gateway doing NAT (so my machine have local
IP). I use a setup where I put the server name-address and a login name.
When accessing the IMAP mailbox, it will wait for few seconds, then give
the messages "rsh to IMAP server timed out" and then asking for password.  
On Monday evening I can access my mailbox without problem. On Tuesday
morning Pine will wait forever and never timed out.

Interestingly there is another mailbox on other machine in LAN (running
IMAPd 4.5) that set up similarly that I can still access without problem!
Also, I can telnet to the gateway and accessing that remote mailbox using
same method without problem. I also can access the remote mailbox from my
machine using other client (Netscape in this case).

Therefore the problem occur only using pine, only from my machine, and
only to that remote mailbox. Remember that the problem just start Tuesday
morning, while there is nothing changed on my machine, the gateway, and
the server.

Do you have any idea what is happening?

Thanks, but the server never have rsh enabled. Anyway I tried to set it to
0. Well accessing remote mailbox still hang pine. However, accessing other
mailbox in LAN now much faster! No more rsh timeout.

So it is not about rsh. Must be something before that.

I am administrator of all the machines. And I did not change any
configuration both in gateway and client. I remember shutting down and
starting up the web server, try rpm-install apache-mod_ssl (failled), try
installing rpmfind. That's it!

Keep in mind that I can still access other IMAP server in LAN using the
same pine. And in the other hand I can access the same IMAP server using
other software from the same client.
