Lilo and append "mem=256M"
I have Supermicro LX440 P6DLS MB with 2 PII 300 and 256M RAM
After installing Red Hat 5.1 i noticed that my Linux can only see
64M of RAM.(running top). After reading some doc's
I noticed that I can add
append "mem=256M" to my lilo.cfg in /etc/
that is what I did. Then I run /sbin/lilo
After reboot, still the same thing. 64M of RAM is available.
Do any of you know what is going on?
Do I have to change any BIOS setting to make this work?
Any suggestions?
Robert
