command(s) that emulate Solaris prtdiag command
I am running RH 7.2 on a couple of servers and am looking for a
command or set of commands that display information similar to Sun
Solaris prtdiag command.

The prtdiag command shows system configuration and diagnostic
information such as the number of CPUs and their speed; amount of
memory, total and the number of memory slots used/free; I/O card
information.

Is there a way to get this information on Linux?

Thanks,

Try "procinfo" to see if it is what you are looking for.

Try the following commands:
  lspci

Also take a look inside the /proc directory and cat files:

  cat /proc/cpuinfo
      /proc/meminfo

Add procinfo to this list, write a small script and the output will be
about what you would get from prtdiag -v except for the error
information provided by that command.
