Everex EV-811 Rev B Card Options

Hi,

Does anyone have a manual for an Everex EV-811 Rev B card for a tape drive.

I need to set the IRQ and DMA settings on the card, but don't know the
jumper settings.

I would like to set the card to IRQ 9, DMA 1 (or 3).

Also, I have noticed that there is a power socket on the card. This seems a
little strange to me - do I need to connect the power to the card or is
that some type of secondary power supply?

Paul.

I have an old Everex QIC02 card at home, but I don't know the part number
offhand. It has a power socket on it because the power for the external
tape drive is sent down the multicore cable along with the data signals.
You need to connect a spare power cable from your PSU to this.

On my card, the IRQ and DMA jumper settings are clearly marked, but
the IO address switches aren't. I have some info that seems to work
for most QIC02 cards - mail me if you want a copy.
