I have a GF4(AGP) PCI:1:00:0 and a Matrox G450(PCI) PCI:2:00:0 installed.
When Boot from PCI is activated in Bios I can use the Matrox Card with
both vga outputs at once in xinerama mode. When AGP is activated as boot
device in Bios I can use The NVIDIA Card in TWINVIEW Mode.

(btw is there
another way to use both outputs of the GF4 card than the TWINVIEW sh**t I
couldn't get the xinerama thing working with the GF4 card)

When i merge the configurations that work seperately, the NVIDIA Splash
screen appears on the two monitors connected to it, and the other screens
change resolutions 2 or three times and then the system crashes. Did I
mention that I hate that ?? Ok, what should I do know ? Get a weapon ??
I tried to run the NVIDIA config and run mgapdesk the Matrox
configuration tool, but I get a GDK error , which I cannot state right
now,cause that pc isnt nearby now.

Does anyone have an idea what the PCI:2:00:0 is about? Are these Cards
incompatible ?

Ok. so both cards worked when you ran them alone?(specifying PCIBus in
XF86COnfig)
Have you tried without xinerama?
I also had some issues with it, like when i moved one window from one
screen to the next it would freez =)
