Fatal Server Error: Could not create lock file in /tmp/.tX0-lock???
Does anyone have any ideas on what caused this? X was working fine, I
changed nothing, this is the second time this happened, I looked for
this lock file and it doesn't exist, any ideas would be appreciated

Maybe it is your permissions on /tmp.  I have this with RH 6.0

drwxrwxrwt 10 root root 13312 Mar 9 06:11 tmp
