 GCC-Manual readability problem
I've got the gcc-manual-2.6.dvi. It displays with xdvi. Here's my
situation:

- I'd like to be able to scroll thru the document rapidly and do searches.

- I don't have a postscript printer.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to convert the gcc-manual into an
html document (like the tcl manual). Also is it possible to convert it to
plain text so I could use it with a pager like "less".

I'm teaching myself C so I think one or the other of the above possibilites
would be a boon to my studies.

If anyone has any suggestions I'll be grateful. PLease keep in mind that I
know next to nothing about TeX, dvi-files or much else related to document
formatting in unix and at this pint I'm just starting to learn how html's
work.

Thanks!

Dan

Get the manual in its original "info" format, and then use the info program to
navigate thru the hypertext links.
