 stray irq, hmm?
Hi-
I periodically get this in my syslog:

stray irq 7

what does it mean? I've never seen it till I added a parralell port printer,
I think this is the irq associated with the lpt0, is the message something to
be concerned about?

I'm hardly an expert, but I've seen the topic mentioned in
the -CURRENT mailing list.  The consensus there was that it's
harmless and the error message might well be removed from the
kernel.

I see this message frequently. It definitely has to do with
the printer: I always get it, when I turn the printer on
after FreeBSD has booted, but never, if the printer is up
beforehand.

Anyway, it seems to be harmless.
